I live in Calufirnia and I found my car online and stopped by Columbia Motors to test drive a 2013 Volkswagen Jetta Sportswagen. The price was very competitive to other cars I had been looking at in California and Nevada. It was everything that I was looking for. I liked that I didn't have to negotiate on the price because of this. Maks, the general manager, let me know they were a 'no pressure' car lot and that I could test drive the vehicle by myself. I knew because of the price that the car had likely been in an accident. Maks and Joseph were honest about the work that had been done and made all information on repairs available to me and arranged for the DMV paperwork as they also had experience with out of state registration. They also help me purchase a high quality warrantee so that I could be further assured of future performance. They really helped me organize financing by contacting my bank and faxing all the paperwork. In fact my bank commented on how easy and professional the transaction had been. Because I was on a road trip, I needed my car shipped to me which Maks arranged for me at a reasonable price (I could not have traveled back and picked up the car any cheaper.) I received my car in perfect condition two days after my check was received. What I really appreciated was the effort Maks went to to help me get to the car payment I needed. These guys made buying a car fun and I couldn't be more pleased with my purchasing experience.

First off they SPECIALIZE in buying cars with salvage titles and then they rebuild them to have a REBUILT certification which is why they can offer amazing deals! I bought a rebuilt 2009 Subaru Outback (which if you want a Subi they have tons!) and was pleased with how fast and easy the transaction was. All of the gentlemen I dealt with were kind and respectful and helped me get a great deal.
After purchasing the car I took it to my mechanic to have it fully inspected (which you really should do before you buy...). Car is in excellent condition, and my mechanic said it was one of the cleanest engines they have seen in a while.
I am very happy with my experience and would recommend them to anyone in the market for an affordable rebuilt car! They showed me the CarFax report showing that my car was totaled due to vandalism and not a collision accident, and mentioned that they dont work with vehicles that have damaged frames because its too costly to get them to the high standards of having a certified rebuilt title. 5.0 star rating 10/13/2015 Via Yelp I purchased a low-mileage (clean title) MINI Cooper S from Columbia Motors. The experience was fantastic. They helped me secure a great loan through a Portland credit union, got the paperwork squared away in about an hour, and even delivered the MINI to my house. Steve is a great guy and he really knows cars. He and his brother were mechanics prior to opening up Columbia and they're really passionate about cars. A few weeks ago one of the electric door latches went out (common MINI issue) and Steve fixed it up in less than an hour for a very reasonable price. Thanks Columbia Motors!
